Many of the sites are specifically for collectors while others, though not collecting-related, will prove of serious value to all philatelists and autograph collectors on the web.

- The Museum of U.S. Essays and Proofs: All U.S. specialists should visit this important website which is a major resource for learning about the origins of U.S. postage and revenue stamps in the 19th century.
- American Philatelic Society. This large website is literally the "Gateway to Stamp Collecting On The Internet." If you're not yet an APS member you can join while you're visiting their site.
- Stamps.Net. This is the constantly-updated Internet Magazine for Stamp Collectors. A colorful and entertaining resource for all philatelists...beginners to advanced.
- Junior Philatelists of America. A wonderful site for not only the youthful stamp collector, but all beginners. Check this site often because it is constantly changing.
- Joseph Luft's Philatelic Resources On the Internet. The original directory of hundreds of philatelic websites.
- Eric Jackson Revenues. For the revenue specialist who seeks every kind of information on this specialty, this is the site.
- The American Philatelic Research Library. This great institution, headquartered with the American Philatelic Society in State College, makes its entire card catalog available online.
- Essay-Proof.Net. A wonderful informational resource and image archives for philatelists interested in the early designs of United States postage stamps.
